Meet the Director of Volunteers
Abigail White
My name is Abigail “Abby” White. I was born and raised in Southwest Florida, growing up with a love for everything outdoors and adventurous. I’ve recently joined the wonderful world of aviation, getting my start with hobby drone flying. This encouraged me to pursue and earn my Part 107 commercial drone license in 2021. This opened a whole new world of opportunity for me. I have since become a private pilot, earning my license right before last year’s air show in November of 2023.
I am also a member of our local 99s Women Pilots chapter. I plan on continuing my journey in aviation and making it my career in the future. 2023 was my first year involved with the Air Show, serving as Assistant Director of Volunteers alongside my flight instructor, mentor, and the previous Director of Volunteers Connie Hite. I had an incredible time seeing the show come together and being a part of its production. As Connie moves into another Director role, I am incredibly honored to take over as Director of Volunteers this year. I am looking forward to leading our volunteers through another fun and exciting air show!
